The new-generation ŠKODA Connect online services deliver online navigation and information services, the option to control selected vehicle functions remotely with a smartphone, and remote interaction with the ŠKODA service centre of your choice. eCall, which automatically contacts emergency services in an accident, is integral to this feature.
Infotainment Online services will help you to reach your destination safely and comfortably, every time. Via this package of services, the infotainment system receives online traffic information in real time, online map updates, weather reports, and information about available parking spaces. Thanks to Charging Stations, you can easily search for the nearest charging station with its parameters and up-to-date prices on their infotainment system.
Remote Access, another ŠKODA Connect feature, provides a new way of controlling your car by interconnecting it with your smartphone. In addition, the SUPERB iV has been given additional specific services, such as Pre-Trip Air-Conditioning for remote pre-trip air-conditioning or Charging for remote charging control and displaying the current charge status.
Selected ŠKODA Connect services are controlled via buttons in the roof module. The eCall red button on the right immediately calls for help if you are involved in or witness a serious road accident. The middle button calls your service centre if you break down. Use the left button to ask for more information on the ŠKODA Infoline.
SmartLink provides you with a connection between your smartphone and the built-in infotainment via Apple CarPlay (also wirelessly), Android Auto and MirrorLink®. Use the navigation system, play music or a podcast via your favourite apps or deal with your text messages and calls.
