AIRBAGS

The main purpose of airbags, in tandem with the seat belts, is to prevent the occupants’ bodies from coming into contact with any rigid parts of the car, or at least to minimise the consequences of any such contact.

FRONT AIRBAGS

The driver is protected by a front airbag mounted in the steering wheel. The front passenger’s front airbag, with a deactivation feature, is located in the dashboard.

KNEE AIRBAG FOR THE DRIVER

The driver’s knee airbag, mounted in the lower part of the dashboard under the steering wheel column, is designed to protect the driver’s legs in case of frontal impact.

SIDE AIRBAGS – FRONT

Side airbags in the front seats protect the thorax and pelvis of both the driver and passenger in case of a side impact.

SIDE AIRBAGS – REAR

Backseat passengers also benefit from the protection afforded by side airbags.

CURTAIN AIRBAGS

Curtain airbags cover the window area and the car’s inner structure from the A-pillar to the C-pillar. They protect the heads of occupants in both the front and rear seats, thus guaranteeing maximum safety.

SAFE BODY DESIGN

The cabin of all ŠKODA models is manufactured from the hardest possible materials in order to provide the passengers with maximum protection.

ISOFIX SYSTEM

In all ŠKODA models, you will find attachment points for children’s car seats using the Isofix system, which enables the easy installation of car seats while ensuring that they are firmly fixed to the vehicle’s body. What is more, they are supplemented with Isofix frames or Top Tether clasps in the vehicle’s luggage area, thereby limiting the rotation of the car seats.

WIDE CHOICE OF CHILD SEATS

We share a common goal with you: the safest possible travel for you and your loved ones. This is why we recommend several different types of tried-and-tested, 100% compatible ŠKODA Genuine Accessories child seats for children of various ages. With Isofix, they can be safely attached to the rear outboard seats; this system is available as an option for the front passenger seat, too.

THOROUGH TESTING

All child seats from ŠKODA Genuine Accessories comply with European safety regulations (EHK 44.04) and have passed a number of other tests. ŠKODA SUPERB

The brand's flagship, the SUPERB, can be fitted with all of the assist systems available, including Predictive Cruise Control and Emergency Assist. An exclusive feature offered only for this model are full LED Matrix headlights. The car can optionally be fitted with all-wheel drive and Emergency Call. Occupants are protected by up to 9 airbags.

ŠKODA KODIAQ

ŠKODA's largest SUV is protected by a full range of assists, including Crew Protect Assist, working in tandem with the radar, and Side Assist. Full LED headlights with Auto Light Assist, switching between dipped and full beam, deliver a great view of the road. The lusty design is rounded off by higher ground clearance, up to 9 airbags, optional AWD and Emergency Call.

ŠKODA KAROQ

The compact KAROQ makes no compromises when it comes to safety. It offers the same safety systems as the KODIAQ, including full LED headlights and Auto Light Assist. The KAROQ can rely on higher ground clearance, optional AWD, a total of 9 airbags, and Emergency Call in case of accident.

ŠKODA OCTAVIA

Our bestseller excels not only in its generous interior, but also in safety. Up to 9 airbags, including for the knees, combine with the rigid design to deliver maximum safety on board. Choose from a full range of assists, including Auto Light Assist, rounded off by full LED headlights. Optional all-wheel drive and Emergency Call are also available.

ŠKODA SCALA

Passenger safety is a priority for this compact family car. Rely on up to 9 airbags, including for the knees. Optional full LED headlights light up the road perfectly. The equipment is rounded off by selected assists, such as Side Assist, Crew Protect Assist, Front Assist with Pedestrian Monitor and Lane Assist. The SCALA is available with eCall.

ŠKODA KAMIQ

This compact crossover radiates safety inside and out, with the rugged design incorporating as many as 9 airbags. Passengers’ safety is also looked after by Front Assist with Pedestrian Monitor, Side Assist, and Crew Protect Assist. When it comes to parking in tight city centre spots, you can rely on Rear Traffic Alert and Manoeuvre Assist. The car is fitted with eCall.

ŠKODA FABIA

The FABIA provides a sense of safety with up to 6 airbags, LED lights, and selected safety assists, such as Blind Spot Detect, Rear Traffic Alert Low and Front Assist. XDS+ improves vehicle control when cornering, and Emergency Call stands ready to call assistance in case of an accident.

ŠKODA CITIGOe iV

Even the smallest ŠKODA has plenty of safety features to offer. The CITIGOe iV comes equipped with Lane Assist as standard and features front airbags as well as head and thorax airbags for the front seats. Numerous drive systems, including ESC and ABS, look after the car on the road.
